Robbie is a native of California and came to
Colorado in 1979. She has lived in Boulder
since 1988. She has an MS in Computer
Information Systems, and an MA in German
Medieval Literature. She has done extensive
doctoral work in medieval studies, specializing
in art history, literature and philosophy at U.C.
Irvine, U.C.L.A., the University of Colorado, Boulder,
and Yale.
Robbie is a graduate of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies'
Two-Week Shamanic Healing Intensive and the
Three-Year
Program of Advanced Initiations in Shamanism
and Shamanic Healing.
As a member of the Foundation for
Shamanic Studies faculty, Robbie
teaches the Basic and
Advanced Weekend Workshops in Colorado, and is the
assistant faculty member for the Two-Week and Three-Year
Programs in the Bay Area.
Robbie is the Assistant Director of the Boulder Center for Conscious Community (BC3), where she has her private practice, Spirit Canoe
Shamanic Healing. Robbie works with clients for healing both in person
and long-distance, and has a growing number of individual
advanced
students. She is a writer of fiction and non-fiction, and
also loves
watercolor painting and a cappella singing.
