Description: During this experiential workshop, participants are introduced to core shamanism, the universal and near-universal basic techniques of the shaman to enter non-ordinary reality for problem-solving, well-being and healing. Emphasis for the work is placed on the classic shamanic journey, one of the most remarkable visionary methods used by people throughout time, to explore the hidden universe otherwise known mainly through myth and dream. Participants are introduced to shamanic journeying, aided by drumming and movement techniques for experiencing the shamanic state of consciousness. Practice includes comparisons by participants of their discoveries in shamanic journeys as well as finding answers to questions with the help of compassionate helping spirits. They will learn journeying techniques to discover and study with their own individual helping spirits in nonordinary reality, a classic step in shamanic practice. Participants will learn how the shamanic journey is used to restore spiritual power and health, and how shamanism can be applied in daily life to help heal oneself, others and the planet. Workshop times are Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 5:30pm MOUNTAIN TIME. |

How to Register: Regular tuition is $315. Early registration through October 9th is $295.

Next, you'll receive a welcome email from Robbie, with the information you need to participate in the workshop, including what to bring, and where to stay if you are coming from out of town. FSS Member Discount - For Sponsoring and Council Members: If you are a FSS member at the Sponsoring or Council level, you can receive a 10% member discount on two in-person weekend workshops per year of membership. Register at the regular price, and include your FSS member discount code when you complete the online registration form. You'll receive a 10% refund via Venmo or PayPal. |

Cancelation Policy: Decisions about potential cancelation of workshops are made based on enrollment as of one week in advance of the workshop dates. This is necessary to accommodate the cancelation policies of our venues, and to allow people who have registered and made travel arrangements to cancel them without penalty. For this reason, the registration deadline for this workshop is Friday, November 1st. If you need to cancel your participation for any reason, you can receive a full refund of the tuition amount you paid up to Friday, November 1st. The Foundation for Shamanic Studies reserves the right to cancel any of its workshops or training courses, or the participation of anyone, at any time, for any reason. In such a case, fees paid in advance will be refunded. |
