Description: Depossession healing concerns situations in which souls of deceased humans who may be suffering, lost or confused, or who may be in the Middle World for reasons of their own, have formed connections with living humans. In some cases, they may have taken up residence in the living person's body. More often, they are having an influence on the living person, which can be major or minor, so that both the living person and the influencing spirit need healing. Shamanic depossession healing is considered very advanced work because of the amount of experience, maturity and power required to do it safely and effectively. For that reason, this workshop is reserved for graduates of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies' Three-Year Program, who have had the benefit of the initiatory practices and deep connection with the helping spirits which that program uniquely provides.
In this experiential workshop, you will be trained in the essential elements of shamanic depossession healing, including:
This advanced training was developed by FSS Three Year Program instructor Robbie Staufer, from her years of experience teaching and practicing shamanic healing, including the method taught in this workshop. It is based in Core Shamanism principles as originated and developed by Michael Harner. The methods used for depossession healing do not rely on innate or inherited mediumship or intuitive skills, or on spiritualist techniques. Schedule: Workshop times are Saturday and Sunday, 10am to 5:00pm Pacific Time, with breaks approximately every hour, and 1 1/2 hours for lunch.
